As the leading venue in North East Scotland, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre attracts an impressive array of events. From concerts and shows to conferences and exhibitions, it’s been a successful venue for over 25 years.
But they wanted to take the next step up. In particular they wanted to attract corporate events, large and small; and they wanted to market themselves differently from venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh. So they came to The Big Picture.
Our planning team soon realised the Centre’s unique quality: the people who worked there. Passionate and enthusiastic, it was the service they gave that made AECC special.
We made that message central to a suite of communications: It’s always the people that make the venue memorable.
We wrote and designed a series of brochures covering all communication aspects, from facility details to regional tourism. Our Brand Movie team shot a video highlighting the centre, its people and the area. And to make receiving these materials even more unique, we packaged them in a tin – demonstrating the venue’s quality.
The team at AECC is delighted with our work. We’ve since completed other projects, including rewriting their website and designing the quarterly “What’s On” flyer.
